Question: What age should I start baby led weaning?
Answer: The recommended age to start your baby on their self-feeding journey is six months old, although there are other signs of readiness such as sitting up unsupported, reaching out and grabbing objects, and being able to take objects to their mouth.

Question: Do you accept returns?
Answer: We accept returns on unused and undamaged items within 30 days of purchase. Please see our return policy for further details.

Question: I have heard that silicone materials leave a residue that makes food taste like soap. Is this true?
Answer: Like many other materials, silicone can build up oily residue over time when not washed thoroughly, which can leave your dishes with a soapy smell or your food with a soapy taste.

Do not fret! This is a problem easily solved! Here are some product care tips and recommendations.

All Muqee Peeko products are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing in hot water using a mild, fragrance-free dish soap to prevent build up.

Whenever eating oily foods or foods with strong odors (ex: garlic), try to wash your dishes as soon as possible after eating.

Try any of these simple and effective methods to remove odors and residues from your silicone products.

  • Soak in equal parts vinegar, hot water, and lemon juice for about an hour. Then rinse off in hot water.
  • Scrub dishes with a fresh lemon or lime wedge to remove grease. Allow to sit for an hour and rinse off with hot water.
  • Make a paste with vinegar and baking soda. Scrub into your products and leave overnight. Rinse off with hot water.
  • Food grade silicone is oven safe! Bake your silicone dishes in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. You can leave them in longer if needed.
